Superb amenities like a water dispenser on every floor.
My experience at MD Hotel Doksan was disappointing. The staff refused to assist with my luggage upon arrival, which was particularly frustrating after a long journey. I also faced additional charges for early check-in, despite arriving only thirty minutes ahead of schedule, which soured the initial moments of my stay.

The staff was friendly and communicated well in English. We often grabbed coffee from the lovely cafe in the lobby, which was a great value. Plenty of local restaurants nearby made dining easy, too.
The cleanliness could use some attention in certain areas, as we found remnants of previous guests.

absolutley underwhelmed. the location is 15 min from the subway, so if you like a good walk with your luggage, this is the place for you. the tv had dust, and don’t even get me started on the food delivery—they couldn’t help me out because I don’t have a Korean number! should’ve just stayed at home.

Unexpected challenges during recovery
Despite the challenges, I appreciated the attentive staff who were always courteous and ready to help. Plus, the nearby cafes offered delightful breakfast options, making mornings enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the lack of luggage assistance was frustrating. After my surgery, I had to manage my own heavy bags, and I faced delays during my room change, which felt inconvenient.

Just an ideal choice for resting at all in Seoul with excellent value for money. The 24/7 convenience store downstairs made late-night snacks easy and affordable. Be sure to download a map for public transport.

great views but location is a trek
The breathtaking view of the Seoul city from my room's expansive windows truly made my stay enjoyable. I also loved the large windows combined with a transparent wall between the bedroom and bathroom that created a modern feel. Plus, the room's air conditioning worked excellently, ensuring comfort throughout my six nights.
